1. Data Collection and Use
ub.FileCompare does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data, project data, or model content from users.
The add-in operates entirely within the local Autodesk Revit environment and processes only the data required to perform model comparison locally on the user’s machine.
For licensing verification purposes, the add-in may query Autodesk App Store entitlement services using the Autodesk user identifier associated with the currently signed-in Autodesk account. This information is used solely to verify license entitlement and is not stored, logged, or shared by the publisher.
No analytics, tracking, advertising, or profiling technologies are used.
2. Data Sharing with Third Parties
ub.FileCompare does not share any user data with third parties.
The only external interaction performed by the add-in is a license entitlement verification request to Autodesk services, which is governed by Autodesk’s own privacy and security policies. No data is transmitted to any other third-party services, analytics platforms, advertising networks, or SDKs.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
ub.FileCompare does not retain any personal data.
No user-identifiable information is stored by the add-in or by the publisher. Temporary in-memory license verification results may be cached locally to improve usability but are automatically overwritten and are not persisted or transmitted.
As no personal data is retained, no deletion process is required.
4. User Consent and Data Deletion Requests
Because ub.FileCompare does not collect or store personal data, there is no requirement for users to revoke consent or request deletion of their data.
